I was in my early 20’s when I first met Rose, she was working in Leeds, UK. I was a single mother who had left a violent and abusive relationship, and all of my friends and support network behind me in the process.
I had a huge hill to climb in order to find my confidence and who I was as an adult, a mother, a person.
